| Community Building on the Internet |
This section includes links to three presentations that were delivered at Macworld Expo in 1998 and 1999. The presentations covered community building on the Internet, and web resources for small businesses. The information overlaps because to build community you must drive traffic to your site. The resources cover tools you can use to do just that.
In the slides and presentations you can learn one definition of community, how to build a community, and some tips and tricks for making your community work well. On the resources pages you will find links to articles on virtual communities, chat sites, message board software, database tools, and other useful software.
The pages are formatted more like my old site than this new one, but as I find new tools, I add them to these pages, so don't worry - the information is still relevant. As many sites change their addresses, please feel free to alert me if any of the links no longer work.
