Katherine Prouty - While a senior editor for Houghton Mifflin, Katherine was a volunteer host for America Online. In 1993, she became Forums Manager for
ZiffNet/CompuServe, soon afterward, she became Product Manager for
ZDNet/CompuServe where she conceived and implemented the first iteration of
ZDU (www.zdu.com). Later became a Senior Product Manager for
KnowledgeSoft, implementing virtual universities for major corporations. In
May, she became the VP of Product Development for the Family Education
Network where she is helping to build a community
where parents can help their kids succeed in school and in life.
