Fun Stuff to Get and See at the Show!

Please remember Robert. Picture of Robert's Face
Robert Hess, 29, an associate editor at MacWEEK, passed away January 12,1996 from complications due to pneumonia. In addition to being a fine reporter and a great guy, Robert was the founder and keeper of all the Macworld party lists.
Robert was truly a gem: technically savvy, insightful, honest, and approachable. We shall all miss him. -- Guy Kawasaki 1/16/96
MacTech Remembers Robert and DQ remembers Robert.
Notable sigs from Robert's email:
4/95: "Some days it just doesn't pay to be a smartass."
1995: "3/4 Americans bought lottery tix. 1/500 made political contributions."
7/95: "No fear. No regret. No compromise. Don't mess with me today, Monkeyboy."
11/94: "A NY LBO king may own my lazy butt but my opinions are still mine."
11/94: "Work at Apple? Wanna get a co-worker fired? Call me from their phone." (The best days of MacWeek.)
Please remember Robert by making a contribution in Robert's name to Digital Queers.
