Edwin Baldos

I work with the production crew of SVTV, not forgetting to mention the Illustration Dept and Marketing consultants. I'm always looking toward helping or getting help from other people who use the Mac. Let's take the Mac to new heights together.

How did you personally
get into using the Macintosh family of computers?
My present employment. It is all we use.
Status: All time Macuser
First Mac:
PPC8100 picture
The first Macintosh I ever used was the 8100/120 already filled with 400MB a 2 gig AV drive, 9 gig data dock and Targa Truvision 2000 Video card. Good oh, 8100 was and still is a great computer. Completing all the tasks I put it through thick and thin. After all the abuse it went through and is still going through, being used for training, combinations of printing, digital editing with 3D/2D graphics, and format conversions for illustration and commercial production. My first 8100 owns all the credit to my first year of commercials I have produced. It still serves its part in my company.
Current Mac:

The current mac that I use today is the Avid Media 1000, Macintosh 9600/233. It fasinates me [and allows me to take on] higher and tougher challenges. I've been editing on it for a year and a half now and still find myself discovering more and more of its capabilities and at home I own a 8600/250.
When did you get your first modem? I got my first modem somewhere within the month of February 98.
Who did you call first? My first connection was with www.apple.com.
Present Occupation: Computer Animation Specialist
Claim to Fame: Lots of commercials I have edited and produced air AFRTS, FEN and SVTV.
Dream Job: I found it but, I am always looking for further heights towards computerized special effects for motion pictures.
Not So Random Thoughts...
Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Different?" What was the situation and what did you do?
Well you may think it was crazy but I had to make a choice whether to end a perfectly long relationship or stay with this job.
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
The Macs simplicity made things easier to understand allowing me more time for exploration.
What is the weirdest thing in your office right now?
I am.
My Passions are:
Audio, videography, computer graphics, electronics and squaking while pulling out my hair in front of my monitor saying isn't there anyone here who can help me.
If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would that person be and what would you ask them?
I will leave this question blank just for political reasons.
Do you play a musical instrument and/or are you in a band?
Yes I play the guitar but, not with a band.
When I grow up I want to be:
Able to answer this question.
The question never asked:
What is Tokyo tokkyo-kyoka-kyoku
Heck if I know but, I must have heard it a million times one day I rode the train to Shinjuku.
