I was born in the suburbs of NYC not so long ago. Not much happened until my parents bought our first computer, an Apple IIc. From then on, I've been a computer afficionado (or is that afficionada?) and an Apple evangelist as I came to see how great the Mac was. I am currently a student, finishing up for now, and a host on Talk City, the community network ;)

How did you personally
get into using the Macintosh family of computers?
One winter's evening in 1988, my dad brought home a Mac Plus from the office. The rest is history!
Status: I'd say I'm somewhere between user, geek and hopeful ;)
First Mac:
Mac Plus picture
See above ... trusty little beige box it was :)
Current Mac:
Mac 7500
two: Power Mac 7500, and a PowerBook 1400
When did you get your first modem? I think it was when we got the Plus.. so 1988.
Who did you call first? CompuServe.
Present Occupation: See above.
Claim to Fame: I was born on Easter Sunday (I know, how lame) and a few other things I can't mention in polite company. ;)
Dream Job: Anything other than what I have right now would be a dream, right? to be honest, I'm not sure yet.
Not So Random Thoughts...
Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Differently?" What was the situation and what did you do?
I think I've always thought differently; but I know, like all Mac users should, that it takes all kinds to make the world go round. :)
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
It tore me away from the ColecoVision, and saved me from ever learning about machine code. ;)
What is the weirdest thing in your office right now?
(original)This is my office, bedroom and den.. so I'd have to say, the stuffed toy speckled lizard I have on the wall right under my Macworld iMac poster!
(new)It's gotta be my desk... it's had several modifications made to it to accommodate a larger monitor, a keyboard extension, and a scanner. I don't know if it can get any bigger without collapsing!
My Passions are:
Meeting new people, going new places, learning new stuff about my Mac, simple things like that. ;)
When I grow up I want to be:
Still a kid at heart. ;)
The question never asked:
Are you sure you're 15? (at my current age)

been in between:
A little town in CT (as if there's anything else there!) Astrological Sign: Aries

Kate's Personal Web Site
Favorite Web Site: The Useless Pages - the [title] says it all.
