Noelle Harris

I'm an avid health nut and just finished my second degree at U.T. in Austin. I work for a cutting edge hardware upgrade company called Powerlogix, and love to learn anything new in the industry. When I'm not at work, I am either at the gym, running outside, or with my friends possibly sipping on a glass of red wine! : )

How did you personally
get into using the Macintosh family of computers?
My father was one of the first people in Austin to start using Macs...and I pretended not to like computers for several years until I ended up working for a local Mac company (much to my dismay)... little did I know it would change my life!
Status: Well, I would call myself a visionary who can be a huge dork at times..
First Mac:
Mac 128K picture
The very first Mac was my first Mac...
Current Mac:
 6100
A lowly 6100...but not for long...I'm about to update myself...
When did you get your first modem? Three years ago...when I started using my "new" 6100 at home.
Who did you call first? Any and everybody!
Present Occupation: Sales (mostly international) at Powerlogix.
Claim to Fame: I have more muscles than a lot of guys!!! I am an avid weightlifter/runner/swimmer.
Dream Job: Running a mind/body/spirit spa close to either the ocean or a ski resort.
Not So Random Thoughts...
Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Different?" What was the situation and what did you do?
I have thought differently my whole life...I have and will always express my individuality! I like to be different. Things that make people unique are wonderful.
My parents were hippy-highbrows, so they taught me how to appreciate the beauty in everything no matter how bizarre... I just learned to accept life for it's variability.
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
It has enabled me to learn and become a part of the information age and has inspired me to start my own business...and has taught me that the best things in life are the things with substance...not just hype.
What is the weirdest thing in your office right now?
A big rubber chicken hanging from the ceiling with a plethora of hawaiian leis, Mardi Gras beads, all suspended from a funnel that hangs from a pumpkin (plastic) suspended from a funnel the chicken's mouth....kind of a funky, eclectic, voodoo kind of thing...will that work?
My Passions are:
Music of all types except for country....music is a focal point in my life...it has always helped to define me.

Sports....I love football!!!! I love everything that I can get inspired about...so gymnastics, hockey, baseball, basketball etc...all big with me.

health, working out, lifting weights, running....all are top priority with me.

Red wine!
If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would that person be and what would you ask them?
Edgar Cayce....I would ask him how it all started.
Do you play a musical instrument and/or are you in a band?
I play piano, flute, trumpet...decently...
When I grow up I want to be:
I don't want to!!!!
