Not So Random Thoughts...
Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Different?" What was the situation and what did you do?
In my professional career, such is a daily occurrence. In the computer industry (also in others), if one doesn't think differently, if one doesn't think of something better than others, then there is no room for development. Utilizing not only the tools of trade, but wits, strength to take risks, confidence, and understanding that one can't win overtime, we take one step forward each time. This is no different in my personal life either. Through many perils, ups and downs, life teaches us to think differently, utilize our past experience and trust our selves to move along, to make it better the next time.
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
Apart from its usual computing advantages, it has taught me one thing. Never think in narrow boundaries, never restrict your opportunities, and never be imprisoned by traditional norms and restricted categories. I have some of Apple's prior and present business strategies to thank for this.
What is the weirdest thing in your office right now?
A little doll of Albert Einstein with a spring head. He always nods in agreement. :-)
My Passions are:
Hmmm.. think I'll keep that answer to myself for now. (ooooh.. secretive ain't I?) :-)
If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would that person be and what would you ask them?
I don't think I could settle for only one. Answer to my question would not suffice coming from only one person, with one specific kind of opinion. I'd rather have Winston Churchill and Immanuel Kant. Over a big lavish dinner we'd discuss about connections between life, politics, war, and social segregation.
Do you play a musical instrument and/or are you in a band?
Play Saxophone (alto) but not in any band currently.
When I grow up I want to be:
When is it that we ever grow up. :-) We all have a kid in us, don't we?
The question never asked:
What the heck am I doing in this dark box?

"Cogito ergo sum" - Descartes

"How can it be known that what I call knowing is not really not knowing and that what I call not knowing is not really knowing? . . . From my point of view, the principle of humanity and righteousness and the doctrine of right and wrong are mixed and confused. How do I know the difference among them?" -- Chuang-tzu
