| How did you personally get into using the Macintosh family of computers? |
I was working for a non-profit corporation, and we didn't have the funds for a computer, so my husband and I bought one for ourselves, for me to use at work too. We'd heard that the Macintosh was user-friendly, so that is what we bought. | |

| After 15 years in a job where there were a lot of politics, as an executive director, I decided to resign, buy a PowerBook G3 and work as a professional internet chat host. And I've never been sorry. I have travelled and worked online, while visiting my internet friends. I've spent a whole summer living on a sailboat in Friday Harbor, San Juan Isand, Washington - while working online!! | |||

| Well - it has given me so many new skills. I tackled the use of the Mac as one would getting a degree at college. I learned how to save so much time and energy doing things on the computer. I can't even believe I once used a typewriter!! I've been online for 4 years and have made a whole new set of friends, and parlayed my interest into my current job!! | |||
| What is the weirdest thing in your office right now? | |||
| Last week, when I was working on my sailboat I would have said portholes for windows!! But now I'm in my winter quarters in Vancouver, and I have a lance I made with a real spearhead made of stone, with bells, bead and feathers on it!! | |||
