| How did you personally get into using the Macintosh family of computers? | *I first used a Macintosh in 1986, when I designed a 54 page booklet on a friend's Mac Plus with PageMaker and a LaserWriter. Very cutting edge. I was still using Commodore equipment. What got me hooked on the Mac was working at ComputerLand of Grand Rapids. I was their DOS geek -- everyone else was into that odd computer from Apple. It took a few months, but I finally saw that easy didn't mean lacking in power. But what really hooked me was earning a Mac Plus in an Apple sales promotion over the Christmas season back around 1991. | |
