Larry has been a Consulting Editor for the late,lamented BYTE; written for most of the Macintosh press; and wrote the industry-standard text on Secure Electronic Transactions over the Internet.

How did you personally
get into using the Macintosh family of computers?
I bought a 128K Mac in Feb,1984.

When did you get your first modem? 1984
Who did you call first? Fred Davis (editor of A+) to find out why the MacTEP program (MacBasic terminal emulation program) they published wouldn't work. Turns out there was an error in the listing.
Present Occupation: Uncertain.
Claim to Fame: I'm still standing.
Dream Job: Taste tester in a candy factory.

Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Different?" What was the situation and what did you do?
I grokked the net before it became huge, and joined the staff of Internet World just ahead of the wave.
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
I met Ilene.
What is the weirdest thing in your office right now?
Paper holder shaped like a monitor.
My Passions are:
Elegant solutions.
If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would that person be and what would you ask them?
Ilene: "Would you get your hand off my thigh?"

Guitar.
When I grow up I want to be:
