Addicted to email and like to meet interesting people. I keep the Boston BBS running, with help from others. For money, I service church organs.

How did you personally
get into using the Macintosh family of computers?
I needed to organize and grow a service business and went out looking at every computer available. Ultimately, I put my trust in a friend who bought one of the first Macs on the market. It was a kicking and screaming decision for me and it was several months before I felt comfortable with my choice. "Hey Gerard, this is a damn $3,000 deck of cards!"
Status: Warm heart, cold hands.

When did you get your first modem? September 1985.
Who did you call first? Yellow Data and PhotoTalk.
Present Occupation: Service Allen organs in eastern New England.
Claim to Fame: Former director BCS*Mac online services; Co-admin BMUG Boston (now The Boston BBS).
Dream Job: What I do now.
Not So Random Thoughts...
Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Different?" What was the situation and what did you do?
The BCS*Mac BBS was running TBBS software on a DOS\BOX and in 1989 I decided I had to learn DOS in order to keep the BBS pig running. I don't get this "think different" stuff. THEY'RE the weird ones.
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
I've met many people who've become good close friends. This isn't supposed to happen after age 30, is it?
What is the weirdest thing in your office right now?
The Aphex Aural Exciter with Big Bottom.
My Passions are:
Sex and drugs and rock and roll, minus the drugs.
If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would that person be and what would you ask them?
Eve. "How about a taste of those Apples."
Do you play a musical instrument and/or are you in a band?
Played guitar as a teen, worked as soundman/roadie for a dozen years. Like to record organ and choral concerts these days.
When I grow up I want to be:
I'm not growing up.
The question never asked:
How the hell do I know?
