How did you personally
get into using the Macintosh family of computers?
Nine years ago, a colleague told me that there was this really cool way to produce "boards" without the use of an X-Acto Knife and Rubber Cement. Originally I thought he just wanted me to put the blade down (guess I was having a bad day ;). And voila! POV was born.
Status: Well-dressed Mac evangelist.
First Mac:

Mac IIsi (still have it)

8600/300 and a new PowerBook G3 :)
When did you get your first modem? In the daze of 2400 baud.
Who did you call first? Prometheus (to register)
Present Occupation: These days, POV is concentrating on FMPro/Lasso database web solutions for her clients.
Claim to Fame: Mother of terrific 8-year-old (what beats that, eh?)
Dream Job: Special Assistant to Interim CEO?
Not So Random Thoughts...
Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Different?" What was the situation and what did you do?
I was TD branded quite early actually. Mrs. Palumbo documented in my high school yearbook (circa 1975): "Stop bucking the system!" Obviously Mrs. Palumbo liked to waste ink as well as her breath.
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
The Macintosh has empowered me. Without it, POV would not exist.
What is the weirdest thing in your office right now?
Those blue spongy toe seperator thingies (used for pedicures).
My Passions are:
Good food, great wine, fabulous music. Oh, and a great sale.
If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would that person be and what would you ask them?
Margaret Sanger (spearheaded birth control movement earlier in this century). I would want to know how she sustained her strength through her lifelong battle and how she overcame obstacles.
Do you play a musical instrument and/or are you in a band?
Eh, no. But I love to listen.
When I grow up I want to be:
Me.
The question never asked:
The answer never given.
