Robin Sharp

Like many people my age, I took my degree in Communications and said "Okay, World. Now What?" I have been in the Mac industry for the past 5 years. I spent three years as an Avionics Digital Photographer and am now the Marketing Director of PowerLogix.

How did you personally
get into using the Macintosh family of computers?
We bought a brand new Quadra 840AV to interface with the NC2000 digital camera we used for photographing the world fleet of aircraft.

Not So Random Thoughts...
Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Different?" What was the situation and what did you do?
I spent two years working with Tony Robbins in his seminars. We had to solve problems and learn to connect with people almost immediately. We had to be able to empower them to overcome their fears and walk across hot coals. It was an enlightening experience. I am glad I had the opportunity to participate in it.
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
No answer yet.
What is the weirdest thing in your office right now?
We have a rubber chicken that is suspended from the ceiling with a simple sign that reads "What's up, Chicken Butt?" People have starting hanging things off the chicken's neck such as a flower lei, pumpkin from Halloween, a dead mouse (the computer kind) and a funnel stuck into the chicken's mouth. That weird enough for you?
My Passions are:
Wine, skiing, and horses.
If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would that person be and what would you ask them?
Alfred Hitchcock. Wow! What a mind! I would not even know where to begin.
Do you play a musical instrument and/or are you in a band?
I have no musical ability at all!
When I grow up I want to be:
A rancher in Montana.
