Gene Steinberg
Gene Steinberg first used a personal computer for publishing a magazine in the 1980s and never looked back. He originally studied broadcasting and then worked for a number of years as a disc jockey and newscaster. Gene is now a full-time writer (fact and science fiction) and computer software and systems consultant. He is author of over a dozen books, including Using America Online 4 and Sams Teach Yourself the iMac in 24 Hours for Macmillan Computer Publishing. He has also contributed to a number of books on the Internet & telecommunications, including Using the Internet 4th Edition for Macmillan. In addition, he has also written feature articles and product reviews for such magazines as MacAddict, MacHome Journal, MacUser and Macworld, and conducts a weekly segment on the Internet and strange and unusual computing tips for Craig Crossman's "Computer America" radio show. |
