Peter can often be found hosting on America Online in the Macintosh Operating System Forum. He's a knowledgable host whom his coworkers admire for his grammar and snappy wardrobe.

How did you personally
get into using the Macintosh family of computers?
In late 1989, I was putting together a home MIDI studio, and I had already fallen in love with a collaborator's Mac SE, so I bought a Mac. When I had my first serious HD crash, I realized I could either learn to fix the Mac or forever be at the mercy of repair technicians. I chose the former, and I've never been the same since.

Not So Random Thoughts...
Was there ever a time in your life that you had to "Think Differently?" What was the situation and what did you do?
I'm a musician, so I've always had to think differently.
How has using the Macintosh computer changed your life?
If not for the Mac, my music of the last decade would probably have significantly different, and I'd obviously never have beome a professional Mac author and consultant. (You think I'd have gotten into computers via MS-DOS or Windows? Ha!)

Music, cuisine, couture, and the feminine mystique.
